What basics should my 3 month pup know

Hi there. My pup is 3 months. I just wondered what basic stuff he should know?

He knows to sit. We have that locked down but what else?

Thanks

  • At his age potty training is the basics along with constant restraint from biting and jumping up on everyone he meets. He's probably still in the hyper mode after being with siblings that enjoyed wrestling, fighting, and acting crazy. Now is the time to curve those habits and start getting him calmed down and focused.

  • Good luck Bill, let the games begin.... :)
  • Potty
    Sit / stay
    Release

You get those down, only 50 to go.

    I actually added a twist.
If I give them the stern daddy look or tone,.
I get release and to me immediatly,. Don't matter what I say
Makes watching sports on TV interesting,. Until they learn to leave the room.

  • I didn’t get my bully till 3 months and she was not house trained, she mouthed people and knew no basic commands. She came from a breeder who had 9 bullies of different ages. She was well socialised with humans, dogs and cats. At 3 months, I guess it’s a good time to get cracking with training but dogs will be at different stages of development based on training exposure.
